Alliance Library System and LearningTimes to Sponsor
Conference on Teaching Health in Virtual Worlds
Alliance Library System, in cooperation with LearningTimes,
will offer a one-day conference exploring the possibilities of using virtual worlds to teach health and healthcare. The conference, entitled "Stepping into Health" is the latest installment of the popular "Stepping Into" series, and will be held entirely in the virtual world of Second Life, allowing participants to attend from any location with a computer and a broadband internet connection. Registration is available

Collaboration Grants – Now
in 3-D
Through our LearningTimes Global Collaboration Grants (GCG),
we provide virtual classrooms for educational purposes
to qualified individuals, institutions and organizations,
often at no charge. Grantees may use these spaces for meetings,
classes, mentoring, or other live collaboration events
for specified non-commercial purposes.
