Amanda Antico-Majkowski is an organizational and business development consultant based in the DC metro area. For over a decade, Amanda has worked at all organizational levels serving as manager, leader, consultant, and coach. Amanda works with clients to build sustainable organizations by engaging and understanding their core assets. She is currently in the research phase of her doctoral degree from George Washington University. The dissertation topic combines social capital with the growing phenomena of social entrepreneurship.

Amanda has successfully consulted in corporate and non-profit environments. Her client list includes: AOL, Arent Fox, AstraZeneca, Dupont and a myriad of small business ventures. She has directed marketing initiatives for nationally recognized programs in the pharmaceutical, legal and technology industries. Amanda has assisted Fortune 500 companies on their market strategy and product implementation. She has also created three successful businesses. She combines her business acumen with her passion for social value creation. In May 2009, she co-led with David Carter, Accelerating Social Entrepreneurship: How Technology is Knocking Down Doors and Fueling Social Innovation, a multi-national conference co-sponsored with the Corporation for National and Community Service.

Prior to her consulting career, Amanda co-founded and directed the nonprofit organization, The TLT Group. TLT Group focused on teaching, learning, and technology as it related to the higher education arena. During that time, Amanda consulted with over 100 institutions annually and she designed and coordinated over 75 workshops and 10 major national conferences with leaders in academia and educational technology companies. She developed and maintained a network of over 100 senior consultants serving higher education. In addition to that, Amanda brokered a partnership between three major educational organizations.

Amanda earned a Bachelor’s Degree from George Washington University and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Learning from George Mason University. She is expected to receive her doctorate from George Washington University, with honors, in May 2010.
